hey. breathe. you're gonna go one step at a time.
this is a calm checklist for when you think your wallet just got drained. tick things off as you go. your progress stays on this device only. · reset checklist
1. breathe. stop the bleeding.
2. check what got hit
paste your wallet address (the public 0x… one, or .eth name). this only reads public blockchain data.

3. revoke bad approvals
an approval is a permission you gave a contract to move your tokens or NFTs. drainers usually use these. revoking cuts them off.
revoking is a transaction, so it costs a little ETH for gas.
start with anything flagged red/unknown in step 2.
if you think your seed phrase or key leaked, read step 4 first. revoking won't save a leaked wallet.
4. decide: bad approval, or leaked key?
just a bad approval you signed something on a bad site, but never typed your seed phrase anywhere. revoking (step 3) usually fixes it. keep an eye on the wallet.
seed phrase or key leaked you typed it into a site, a "support" chat, a file, or a screenshot. that wallet is compromised forever. don't put anything new in it.
if it leaked:
make a fresh wallet on a clean device (ideally a hardware wallet).
move whatever's left to the new wallet.
watch out for "sweeper bots": they grab any ETH you send to the old wallet for gas, often within seconds. if that's happening, move NFTs/tokens without topping up gas there, or get help from a trusted, well-known source, not a DM.
5. report it
it probably won't bring things back, but it creates a record and helps warn others.
